What's Happening? What's Up?

It's that time of year again, KC! That time when everyone goes M A D.

Selection Sunday is only a few days away and Monday we'll all be crazily filling out numerous brackets in hopes that we win whatever coveted prize is up for grabs. Before we focus on the biggest tournament in March, we Kansas Citians (Kansas City + martians? What's the official name for KC residents?) are getting weird this week for the Big 12 Tournament.

2015 is the sixth consecutive year Kansas City has been given the honor of hosting the Big 12 tournament and tonight Kesh will be front row center while K State takes on TCU. And by front row we mean 21st row. NBD though because there are no bad seats in the Sprint Center.

Too bad MU's no longer on that list as they thought they were too cool. The Big 12 is now, what? The Big 10? 8? Maybe lets update the name.

The last day of the tournament is Saturday and we'll be celebrating the only way we know how- by getting day drunk* and watching the game at a bar downtown. 🍻

Whichever Kansas team you're rooting for, hopefully at least one of our teams goes all the way.  
 

FYI The Sprint Center now sells beer during the Big 12 Tournament. Guess Kesh didn't need to pregame with wine after all...

Big 12 Tournament! March Madness! We know this is like Christmas for you sports feenes, but for those of you who aren't interested in athletics, you can spend your weekend celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Snake Saturday is the 14th so get ready for some parades and green beer. The Saturday before St Pattys is  always observed for those of us who work during the week. 

You could even run into ginger bearded full grown leprechauns 

For those of you not working on Tuesday (lucky bastards good for you) don't forget about the 43rd annual St. Patrick's Day Parade from Midtown to Broadway starting at 11a. 

And for those of you who don't want to celebrate the luck of the Irish... the 377th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiers on E! this Sunday at 8p. Enjoy turning your brain to mush while you watch.*
