Welcome to Kesh and Jac.
Let's just start by saying we thought creating a blog would be exceptionally easy – this was far from the truth for us. We googled how to start one of these and learned we should focus on one topic we’re passionate about and have lots of experience with. Since we both work desk jobs we didn’t go to school for and our hobbies are typical of every other female in their mid-20's - shopping and food…. we went with life. We are definitely passionate about being alive.
Specifically, we want to share some of our life adventures from living here in Kansas City. Neither of us planned on living here- both had big dreams of living in NYC or moving to Europe, but here we are in the heart of America-and we have learned to love it. Kansas and Missouri have a bad rap, but we want to change that. There are lots of blogs out there for you to read and we don't want to waste your time if you're not into what we'll be discussing (but trust us- you will be). We will do reviews of the best places to eat, drink, shop, and go for entertainment, and talk about current happenings around the city. This blog is for those of you who are thinking of visiting the city, those of you moving to KC, and even those of you that were born and raised here- because we want to open your eyes to all that Kansas City has to offer. Finally, this blog is for everyone else because we don't discriminate. Now take our hands and follow us on this magic carpet ride they call internet blogging.
